	9	Spots in the soil can appear for example when the soil is iron rich and due to groundwater or rain this iron is oxidized leaving green or brown spots on the soil. When encountered they can be classified in three different gradations of spots.

	15	A trail of spots most of the times indicates a flow of groundwater through the studied soil. A trail is a uninterrupted line of spots, like shown in the picture below. A ‘trail’ can also be found on a much smaller scale. The spots cover between the 20 and 50% of the surface.
