Sample humidity

When sampling soil in the field one must define it humidity status. Below a graph can found explaining the three different stages.
Soil sample moisture
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Completely dehydrated | The sample doesn't contain any moisture. |
| Dehydrated | The sample contains moisture but also shows traces of shrinking or spots that indicate some part of the moisture evaporated. |
| Field moisture | The sample has the same humidity as the material that is extracted directly from the borehole. |
